Remember awhile ago I mentioned that I bumped into Rachel at the airport? Well well.. this pretty lady has a fashion blog now!!
Like the name suggests, whatiworetoschooltoday features real life teenagers who have a thing for fashion and loves dressing up for school! Rachel, who has a passion for fashion, personally scouts for potential fashionistas in her school and snaps pictures of them to share with everyone. How awesome is that?!

I am noticeably inactive in the cyber world lately.. I seldom sign into MSN even though I'm surfing (or when I do I appear offline most of the time), I don't update my blog as often and I don't have a Twitter account.
I do have a Facebook account but it's unquestionable stagnant for the longest time; I don't respond to friends' requests, I have never once updated my status, and I always appear offline to avoid small talks with people.
Why am I like that ah.. Now I feel like starting all over again with a new account, yes?? Hehe.

TWEET IZ ME
Gosh, can't believe I missed my flight back to Singapore yesterday!! I must be blind or something because I remember taking a glance at my itinerary earlier and was very sure of the departure time :(
I freaked out when I saw that the check in counter was CLOSED when I reached the airport, but thank god for guanghong and yeeling!! :) The couple was so helpful in every way, from booking another air ticket for me at a later time (the staffs initially told me to stay over AT THE AIRPORT and wait for the morning flight), to pushing/carrying all my bigggg luggages and calming me down over supper while we waited for out flight back to Singapore, thank you so much!! :)

At the airport
Saw Rachel (dance junior)!! What a pleasant surprise.. caught up a bit before boarding the plane. She's such a fine young pretty lady now! :)

IF YOU'RE READY TO JUMP, I'LL BE HERE TO CATCH.
I can't believe how fast the weekend come and go :( It was like only yesterday where I stood at Pasir Ris interchange, waving frenziedly like a child as Andreas took big steps towards me with a smile on his face in his Smart Four Uniform(looking darn good!), and the next thing I knew, the weekend's over in a whiff and my boy's back in Tekong :(
Thankfully he was able to book out on Thursday and was only required to book in on Monday morning, which means 4 days of quality time together which we fully utilised! We had suppers every single night, walks in the park outside his house, caught Up 3D (worth the $27!) and G.I Joe (soooooooo good though I'm usually not a fan of sci-fi movies), caught NDP, went prawning, went ION.. yada. Before that we caught Hangover too, really hilarious you should watch it too!
I always thought I was comfortable being myself with Andreas since we dated close to 3 years now but boy, was I all jittery about meeting him on Thursday that 3 days before that I went for facial, mani+pedi, waxing, dyed my hair and started picking my outfit. Hehe sound so silly I know right but it felt so much like the honeymoon period and I really love this feeling :)
I was so nervous that I screwed up the dance which was meant to be a surprise for him because he always wanted to see me dance since I was a dancer but I never once danced in front of him because we always danced as a group for many people, and I thought dancing solo seems retarded(well trust me, it was). So I thought it would be a pleasant surprise if I dance specially for him and yay, he really liked it :)
Enough of Andreas and army talk, I just realised we were so occupied that we didnt take a single picture together.

To think I was supposed to leave with her for Melbourne Uni for a good 2 years but thank god I rejected the offer just one month before flying off, or I would never imagine leaving Andreas, my family, my friends and Hey,Sugar! behind on this sunny island. *shudders*

By the way, I've been getting quite a lot of mix comments about the new model and I'm really quite lost with how the majority feels :( I don't know if its because my customers are not used to seeing a new face, or they prefer a fatter model (ME), but the last thing I wanna do is to model my clothes again; it's SO tiring! And Pris is simply sucha sweet girl you know, very accommodating and humble; the very reason why we picked her among the other 12 girls from the audition we held previously :(

Each and every single day seems to be crawling by and the only thing I look forward each day is the 10-15 mins phone call with him in the night. 2 weeks might seem like nothing to some, but in our almost 3 year relationship we have never NOT meet for more than 3 days, so I really dont know how to survive this 2 weeks :(

A.R.M.Y
This dreadful day has finally arrived :( For the past week I have been staying with Andreas everyday(oh yes I helped him shaved botak!!) and this morning, together with his parents, we set off to Pulau Tekong to send him off. Upset and unwillingly as I was, I managed to hold back my tears when we bid goodbye :) Andreas and I were so thrilled when we heard that his POP is on the 8th Sept because 9th Sept would be our 3rd Year Anniversary and before that we were so afraid that he would still be in Tekong on our 3rd Year, thank god :) I'll make sure it would be a lovely celebration for us. :) When he books out 2 weeks from now, I'm gonna pass him something that I will be making this week for him to bring back to camp! ;)
Yesterday night Andreas and I met up with his usual clique and the 8 of us went to check out Marina Barrage. Before that, we pigged like mad, hopping to 3 places consecutively to have our have our "last supper" with A and they were so goooooooood.
I flew off last Wednesday and was extremely sleepy throughout the whole trip because my flight was at 6am and before that, A and I, together with Chester, went prawning lol. It was such a mad rush; reached home, showered, had supper with A, make up, off the the airport.
Going to the post office tomorrow, then meeting the rest for dinner together and stayover at night! :)

THE RIDE WITH YOU WAS WORTH THE FALL.
Anyway I'm really glad A and I patched things up, for real :) You know all these while we had unresolved issues with each other subconsciously but never got the chance to sit down and iron things out, instead we allowed the issues to come and go, each time leaving a little anger within us. So during the past weeks, we were constantly mad at each other and again, would subconsciously picked on the nitty gritty stuffs. So that fateful night, we had this major, major argument we never once have where the both of us were madly typing on the keyboard and releasing whatever displeasure we had inside. During the entire confrontation, I honestly thought that was the end of us but because A wanted us to give another shot and I agreed. Now thinking back, I'm so thankful for the argument, it was like a wake up call for us. I finally managed to let him hear what he really needed to know, and I on the other hand, allowed myself to listen to his opinions. Whatever it is, I hope things stay like this for good although I am aware that some issues are not within our control. Things have been perfect since that night, it's like falling in love with the same person all over again.
So we went to the Night Safari on our 2yr 10mth ! Had Bongo Burgers, and we feel was overrated. Didnt take pictures because the nocturnal animals are sensitive to flashlights, except for some self shots during the "Creatures of The Night" show.

THE LAND OF A THOUSAND SMILES
So as I was transferring the pictures to my laptop earlier, I realise we took really little shots in Bkk, considering that we were there for 5 full days. I reckon because our hands were always busy holding onto food lol, we ate non-stop seriously! Cheap and good.
From missing breakfast cause we overslept, to rushing to the BTS station almost everyday, watching live muay thai shows, beating the heat with A drenched in nothing but sweat, me ordering A to flirt with the salesgirls so we could get better discounts, supper and room service everynight, all the various night markets we've been to, standing at attention before the start of a movie (boy were we stunned!), giggling nonstop during thai massage, fretting like idiots cause we thought we missed our flight, watching "confession of a shopaholic" on the flight back.. too much to be summarized into this little space, but will always be remembered! Man, I'm missing Bkk SO much already! :(

LOST IN TRANSLATION.
Just realise I have yet to unpack my stuffs from Bkk, too many and too lazy to :( Anyway, here's only one of the three bags I brought home.
Bottle there for comparision, it's really really huge in real life :O

Anyway, before my trip I heard that Bkk has lots of really cheap lingeries to offer, but I beg to differ. Price wise was only so-so, not dirt cheap definitely. Sizes were pretty limited as well, only came back with 6 sets of lingeries and bikinis.

Soft spot for lingeries with laces/ ribbons/eyelets details, and lingeries that are translucent/ nautical style etc.
No picture of clothes though, cause there are seriously TOO many for me to unpack already, much less lay them nicely on the bed for pictures lol. Ok gtg, catching ghosts of girlfriends past tonight.
